The purchase and sale of a thermal power plant or boiler house (hereinafter referred to as TPP) is a complex legal task, the effective solution of which requires scrupulous preparation.

For this purpose, the experts of the portal "Legal Aspects of Energy Supply" have developed Recommendations for preparing for the purchase and sale of an object for the production of electric and (or) thermal energy.

Their main purpose is to provide assistance to potential parties to the transaction.:

• in identifying the risks and limitations of the sale of thermal power plants at the stage of drafting the TPP purchase agreement;
• in ensuring the legal "purity" of both the TPP purchase agreement and related related transactions and other activities.
  
  The Recommendations include:

1. a checklist of the main events in connection with the sale of thermal power plants;
2. a checklist of the main documents and information necessary for the formation of a contract for the sale of thermal power plants;
3. an approximate form of a contract for the sale of thermal power plants;
   an approximate form of a contract for the sale of inventory valuables (related to thermal power plants);
4. an approximate form of consumer notification of the sale of thermal power plants (with the attachment of an approximate form of agreement on the replacement of the party in the heat supply contract).
